We want to thank everyone who donated drinks and snacks to the Firefighters/EMTs collection.

Mr. Foley procured a free AED for our school. James McNiven crafted a fantastic wooden case, with Mr. Wheeler's guidance, for the new AED. Wayne Parker will be mounting it out at the football field concession stand. A big THANKS to everyone for making our school safer!

Burlington Seniors completed their Capstone Trip organized by Mr. George. This trip has become a great educational tradition. Kudos to Mr. George for all of his time and effort to plan an outstanding itinerary. Based on early reports, this trip was memorable and enjoyable. Students have the opportunity to connect to our country's roots. They also taste what life in large metropolitan settings is like. It is an opportunity that leaves lasting impressions, memories, and experiences.

The student councils are working to gather a collection of snacks and drinks for our firemen and EMTs as an expression of gratitude for all that they do...as well as provide an opportunity for students to give back to the community. Please join us for this effort during the week of the 25th of March. Thanks!

Join us for Math Night this Thursday evening, 3/14 from 5:30-6:30

Our MS students have been PERFORMING. Mrs. Kuper's drama class performed a comedic melodrama set in the Wild West around the 1890's. Mrs. Neves' MS class performed a mini-musical of the Wizard of Oz. The MS also performed a rhythmic basketball performance during our Pep assembly. BMS has been rocking it!

There will be no Boost Wednesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 7th due to parent teacher conferences. Please call the office with transportation changes.

Lady Huskies earned 3rd at State! Congrats players & coaches!!!

BEST OF LUCK🍀 as our Lady Huskies head to State! StuCo sponsored the Pep assembly this afternoon & Coach McIntosh surprised the team with fireworks.💥

Our MS Challenge of the Books team, advised by Dory Cauffman, competed against 6 other teams and took 3rd place! The winning team came from Cody, followed by Worland. Burlington's team captain was Brad Davidson, who was our speaker. The rest of the team included James McNiven, Michael Broederlow, and Lily Bullinger; as well as three 6th graders: Stella Davidson, Lucy McNiven, and Chloe Cauffman. Dory was very proud of our team, but says the best part about the day was beating Powell!

Congrats to our MS boys for a very successful weekend! Our "A Team" took 2nd place and our "B Team" took 1st place! The "B Team" earned a spot to compete in the upcoming Yellowstone tournament with schools like Powell and Cody.

Thank you to Mrs. Holly Michaels for volunteering to do a bread-making class with the 4th graders, who have been learning about fractions. And what better way to incorporate fractions than in real-life baking? Students made the bread during math & Mrs. Michaels took it home, baked it, and brought it back later in the day so students could enjoy their hard work.

Teachers are learning lots about implementing the PLC process at this Arizona Solution Tree conference & having some fun too.

Elementary Student Council Election Speeches will occur on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 2:55 pm in the auxiliary gym.

Dalin and Hannah Winters from Feels Like Home, presented to our seniors in our Business Math course this morning. They gave some amazing information about home costs, the buying process, and financing considerations of various home options. Thank you for providing this opportunity!

Last weekend our Speech & Debate team had every single competitor receive improved feedback compared to previous tournaments. We placed 3rd in 1A/2A and had several individuals who placed. Daniela Garcia received 1st place in Drama, Kitzen Schatz placed 4th in Oratory, and Jessica Mendez placed 5th in Oratory. There was some tough competition from South Dakota schools that we hadn't competed against before, which added an extra level of difficulty to the tournament. The team heads to Riverton next. Congrats!
