1st Round Football Playoff information.

Burlington’s 5th grade science students are exploring hydroponics using the Gardyn system generously loaned by Ms. St. Clair. Through this hands-on project, each student had the opportunity to plant and care for one individual plant, learning how plants can grow without soil using only water and nutrients. The classroom has turned into a small indoor garden, where students are observing root growth, measuring plant height, and discovering how technology and science work together to create sustainable ways to grow food. This engaging experiment is helping students connect scientific concepts to real-world environmental solutions.

Ms. Jordan’s 3rd grade reading group recently finished reading Matilda and took their learning to a whole new level! After diving into the book together, the students worked to create their very own movie version of the story. This project was completely student-led from start to finish! They used AI to help generate a script, then made thoughtful edits and corrections to make it their own. They showed creativity, teamwork, and amazing leadership. It’s posted to our school Youtube site along with other student-created highlight videos, live streams, podcasts, and more, at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPn-7lwtvwY

Our BMS football team had a GREAT season!
Head Coach Tim Allen shared: What a year it has been for this group! They have done so well! We beat every 6 man opponent and even got to try 3 games of 9 man football where they were 2-1. Once they figured out how to play 9 man ball they were head and shoulders above their opponents and really learned how to play team football. There will be some state championships from this roster!!

Congratulations to our high school football team.

Such a cool opportunity each year for our 6th graders to complete Hunter's Safety as part of our PE/Health classes with Mr. May and our SRO, Nate Kreider. The culminating event encouraged students to apply their learning in a hands-on field trip.
College and career exploration is a high priority and we plan opportunities for every junior to job shadow an area of interest. A huge THANKS to the Timmerman Gallery in Cody for supporting these efforts!
