Today, our Burlington School chapter of National Honor Society invited our local senior citizens for a Thanksgiving Luncheon at the Burlington School cafeteria! After a delicious meal prepared by our kitchen staff, students and community members chatted with each other, and even enjoyed a bit of holiday trivia with a Jeopardy game. The members of the National Honor Society are excited to bring back this tradition and hope to see more community members in years to come!

Congratulations to new NHS inductees: James M. McNiven, Maddie Aagard, Bradford Davidson, Sophie Olson, and Rae Leonhardt! NHS leaders explained the pillars of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character and what that means for our Burlington chapter, inviting guest speaker Blake Smith to elaborate. The ceremony ended with the lighting of the candles and some light refreshments.
BHS' National Honor Society would like to extend an invitation to our senior citizens to join us for a Thanksgiving lunch in the school cafeteria on Thursday, 11-20. Hope to see you here!

Come see what FFA's all about on Thursday, 11-20!

As part of our Senior Success Skills class, all seniors participate in mock interviews in front of a panel of volunteers. This experience helps to prepare students for a real-world setting, providing an opportunity to use their newly revised resumes and helping students to apply the leadership skills they've been developing and discussing. Students receive feedback from the panel on the interview skills they demonstrated.

CONGRATS TO SARAH MCNIVEN ON RECEIVING ALL-STATE VOLLEYBALL HONORS.

Not just today, but every day... THANK YOU, Veterans!

5th graders sported a 'stache during lunch saying, "We earned it!" Don't they look contemplative?
Congratulations to our Lady Huskies who earned All Conference Honors.

Mrs. Kuper's MS drama class put on an exceptional performance and our elementary loved booing the evil queen and interacting as the audience. These BMS students are very talented thespians!

Burlington’s 5th grade science students are exploring hydroponics using the Gardyn system generously loaned by Ms. St. Clair. Through this hands-on project, each student had the opportunity to plant and care for one individual plant, learning how plants can grow without soil using only water and nutrients. The classroom has turned into a small indoor garden, where students are observing root growth, measuring plant height, and discovering how technology and science work together to create sustainable ways to grow food. This engaging experiment is helping students connect scientific concepts to real-world environmental solutions.
