The last day of Boost for the school year will be Thursday, May 16th. There will be no Boost after school next week. Please let the office know what your transportation changes are.
Last night at the School Board meeting, Retirees were honored. It is an impressive group of individuals who have given much over many years (166 combined years of service.) We thank them and wish them much happiness, adventure, and fulfillment in their retirement.

MS track practice is cancelled tonight. If you are participating in Best of the Best tomorrow, the bus leaves Burlington at 5:15 tomorrow morning and will pick up in Otto at 5:25am.
Middle School Students are participating in a Career Awareness Seminar focusing on employment skills. There are great activities to allow practicing the skills.










We are so lucky that the majority of the food we serve at school is homemade. Take a look at this beautiful homemade French bread that Terrin Christiansen, Paula Parsley, and Ruth Forbes made yesterday. Our cafeteria staff is amazing!
The middle and high school music students will be performing "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" Thursday, May 2 at 12:30 PM and 6:30 PM.

Our 8th and 10th grade classes each traveled to NWC in Powell for career exploration and to experience some of the specialties NWC has to offer.







Under Mrs. Crosby's guidance, 5th graders worked together to plan and prepare to teach Kindergarten students. They learned some basic management skills to help remind Kinder students to maintain focus and positively engage in the activity. 5th graders also learned strategies for resolving potential conflicts. The groups played games such as Monkey and Banana, Musical Ball Pass, and Tug-o-war.





Special Olympics athletes braved the cold to compete in Cody today with 17 teams participating. Our team did well and Ella earned 1st place in the tennis ball throw!😃




District #1 has Special Olympic Athletes braving the cold in Cody to compete. It is a wonderful event. Seventeen teams are participating.









Last weekend was beautiful weather for track.
Burlington Seniors presented projects last evening. They did well sharing the process and what they learned.







FCCLA students addressed the School Board last week and did a fantastic job. They were practiced, professional, and articulate. Kyler, Weston, and Jordan will be traveling to represent Burlington at nationals, with advisor Patricia Casey.


Elementary StuCo has planned an assembly on April 18 @2:15. The NED Show centers around three important messages: Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. During the assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor, and yo-yo tricks.
