The BMS volleyball camp was lots of fun last week. 36 girls participated from Burlington, Powell, Cody, Lovell, and Greybull. Each girl put in over 25 hours of practice over the 4 days. They worked on core volleyball skills, as well as competing in 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, and 6v6 games/tournaments. Head coach Lisa Winters and assistant coaches Jenna Neves and Stephanie Winters, along with some HS athletes, helped to make the camp a success!

This week, Summer School students put their engineering skills to work by designing and building marble roller coaster tracks! Along the way, they explored concepts like gravity, friction, motion, and energy while testing and improving their designs. It was a fun week of hands-on STEM learning!

Student Council hopefuls gave speeches yesterday. MS votes will be tallied this week. Our HS candidates ran unopposed so they each said a few words while crowning each other for next year's leadership positions. Congrats to all! It takes courage to speak in front of your peers!

Our MS/HS Awards Assembly kicked off with REA, NWC, and the Byron Lions Club scholarship presentations, followed by Chute Cauffman signing at UW-Go Pokes! We then recognized Presidential Fitness awardees, Husky Award athletes, Character awards, Knowledge Bowl teams, track, and more! Check out our ACT Banner in the gym as we add the Class of 2026 who is #1 in the state and the highest composite score of any HS in Wyoming, ever recorded! Each student left today's assembly with a folder of awards, a candy, and a soda. And don't forget to join us in the library on Thursday for our annual "Senior Send-off" with snacks and a walk down memory lane 11:30-12:45!
