Eggs are beginning to hatch at the RMHS fish hatchery in Mr. Wilson's class! This is the second year Mr. Wilson's class has participated in the Trout in the Classroom project in conjunction with the Wyoming Game and Fish! Last year they were able to stock 135 Rainbow trout into a local fishery! Hoping to beat that number this year!

Our Spirit of the Grizz this week is Lauren Bassett. Lauren led our team in scoring, averaging 18.5 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game against two strong 3A opponents. She brought relentless heart, hustle, and grit on both ends of the floor and set the tone for our team’s toughness.
Great job, Lauren — keep up the great work!

Mason Moss is averaging 21.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game this season. Beyond the numbers, Mason leads with quiet confidence and humility. He carries himself with a team-first attitude, works hard every day, and never complains. A true coachable athlete, Mason is always looking for ways to improve his game while setting the standard for his teammates. The Grizz are proud to have his steady leadership on and off the court.

Whisper Isabell not just a manager that cares about stats or if she’s doing a great job. She is also someone who cares about her teammates and cheers them on as she’s doing her job. For that Whisper is the Spirt of the GRIZZ this week.

Jason Unruh is a hard working student. He always has a smile on his face and is eager to accomplish his classroom assignments. Not only is he productive with his time but is also willing to help other students when needed. I am proud of Jason and all the growth that he has had in middle school. He represents Rocky Mountain Middle School in a positive way in how he conducts himself in extracurricular activities, as well! Way to go, Jason!!

Last semester, I had the privilege of having one student who submitted all assignments on time. This remarkable achievement demonstrates exceptional responsibility and a strong sense of ownership over her learning. Nora Kougl not only excels in managing her schoolwork, but she also collaborates well with her classmates and readily offers assistance to those who may be struggling. Additionally, she actively participates in class lessons. I am truly impressed by her work ethic and determination. Keep up the excellent work, Nora!
