Graysin Jolley is my choice for Middle School Student of the Week. Grace has tenacity, determination, and the drive to do well in all things she does. She consistently asks for feedback from her peers, takes charge when a project challenges her, and seeks to master all the creative processes.
Whether by encouraging and leading her peers, devoting outside class time to student council or sports activities, or asking thoughtful questions about art, Grace brings a willingness to work hard, lead well, and persevere in all things she does. Keep up the great work Grace!

I chose Bailey Simcox as student of the week. Bailey has been doing so well in my choir class and is a leader for my alto section. Though she tends to be shy about her voice, she has a great tone and is preparing to sing a solo at this year's festival. Thank you for being such a great asset to our program and school. Enjoy parking up front. Mr. Burton

Sawyer Bassett. Sawyer continues to grow more confident in her varsity starting role and had a tremendous week for us. She took on the challenge of being the primary defender against two of the top guards in the state and competed at an elite level. On top of her lockdown defense, Sawyer dominated the glass — pulling down 19 rebounds and relentlessly attacking the offensive boards. She also added 11 points to cap off a solid performance. Great job, Sawyer! Keep up the good work!

Jaxson Miller
A season-ending injury may have taken him off the court, but it hasn’t taken him off this team. Jaxson continues to show up every day — cheering, encouraging, and lifting up his teammates as we head into the final stretch of the season. A great friend. A true teammate.
Still all in. Still Grizz.

Emma Collins has brought leadership, dedication, hard work, and a contagious smile to cheer this year. Her commitment and ability to push the entire team to perform at their best is a talent few possess. She has truly been a joy and an exceptional captain. Keep smiling and keep working hard. You make a difference every day.
