The Burlington 6th Graders are nearing the end of their 2023 Hunter's Safety Course. Field day at the Gunwerk's Shooting range here in Burlington, offered a fun hands-on application of concepts. All 6th Graders learned how to use Bear Spray in the field and practiced their marksmanship skills as they each shot over 30 rounds of ammunition. This was also a final opportunity to study for their written test on Wednesday which will be the conclusion of their course.

We had our first Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting this morning. Our agenda included: student schedules, scheduling, school performance reports, goals, and parent feedback. THANKS to all the parents who participated this morning and if you'd like to join future meetings, let me know!

We have 3 WHSAA Sportsmanship award winners! Breanne Walker showed excellent sportsmanship during the Dubois game by being positive and upbeat towards her team members, opponents and officals.
