
MS/HS students had a great hands-on opportunity to learn communication, teamwork, and other essential skills at today's assembly put on by UWyo High Altitude Pathways (HAP) & CFES Brilliant Pathways.











Riley Trujillo is a District FCCLA officer this year and as such, one of her responsibilities was to plan the Fall Conference in Casper this year with the other officers. Riley did a great job organizing the opening skit and her workshop was great! She really represented Burlington well!

With all this rain all of a sudden, it's a good thing that the 1st graders did their walking field trip to the Firehall yesterday! A huge THANKS to Tim Allen and Jared Asay for volunteering their time to share about fire safety!






Today we thank our Celebrations Committee who organizes monthly treat days. They are much anticipated and widely enjoyed by all staff!


The HS Cross Country Conference Meet will be tomorrow,Thursday, Oct 12
in Ethete, WY. The girls run at 4:00 and the boys at 4:35. Wish them luck!



The Burlington 6th Graders are nearing the end of their 2023 Hunter's Safety Course. Field day at the Gunwerk's Shooting range here in Burlington, offered a fun hands-on application of concepts. All 6th Graders learned how to use Bear Spray in the field and practiced their marksmanship skills as they each shot over 30 rounds of ammunition. This was also a final opportunity to study for their written test on Wednesday which will be the conclusion of their course.


We had our first Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting this morning. Our agenda included: student schedules, scheduling, school performance reports, goals, and parent feedback. THANKS to all the parents who participated this morning and if you'd like to join future meetings, let me know!


We have 3 WHSAA Sportsmanship award winners! Breanne Walker showed excellent sportsmanship during the Dubois game by being positive and upbeat towards her team members, opponents and officals. Jordan Michaels received his award during the Meeteetse game. Jordan displayed respect towards officals and his opponents throughout the hard fought game. The third award is a team award received by the Burlington High School Football Team. They showed great respect and discipline during the game against Midwest. Way

**Schedule Change**Varsity game 9/28 (tonight) has been moved from 6:00PM to 4:00PM. The middle school games will be in the Auxiliary Gym @ 4/5:00PM.

A big shout out to Booster Club and all of you who have contributed to it! The new flags make our grounds look sharp and check out the front of our gym!
Burlington MS/HS Booster Club is a parent lead organization that supports and
promotes school spirit for athletic and non-athletic activities in our school. Booster helps fundraise monies and resources to support and enrich the growth and development of student programs and activities at Burlington MS and HS. Booster Club has provided peppy signs for student lockers. They provide a hospitality room for tournaments. They have supported teachers with dinner during parent/teacher conferences and teacher appreciation week. Last week they provided senior parent flowers and candy. With the funds that were donated last year they purchased window graphics for the crow’s nest at the football field and flags to display on game days. A huge THANKS to all of you who have contributed!

The high school football game will start at 1:45 today, not 2:00.

Quantum Learning Training (Day #2) for all substitutes, paras, and teachers! It will be in Cowley from 8:00-4:00pm on Monday, 9-25 at RMES. We will provide a 7:10am bus from Burlington for those who would like a ride in the morning.


The annual Homecoming parade will be held on Friday morning, September 22nd and will start at 10:30 AM. We welcome all members of the community to line the streets for the parade. Be sure to wear your Black and Orange!
