The University of Wyoming sent a cadre of representatives to visit Rocky Mountain High School. The group shared about UW's programs and other merits.





The FFA was busy early this morning cooking breakfast for staff as part of FFA Week.

Rocky and Burlington are playing for the middle school 8th grade championship.

Shane Brost, Rocky Mountain's School Resource Officer, was awarded the Medal of Valor today. We are proud of his dedication to serving students, staff, and our communities.
Mr. Robertson and a couple of his students shared with the Board about their Culture Club. Students are learning about their heritage and about different cultures. The presentation was very interesting.
RMHS students are hosting an elementary student career fair. Elementary students from RMES and BES are attending. Sally Bernhisel and Skye Mader have organized this learning event. The high school students are mostly members of FBLA. They are doing a great job presenting. The elementary students are enjoying the rotations.










The State School Board Conference in Casper featured some great speakers. Senator Barrasso made an appearance. Our Board received a Standard of Excellence Award.




Fun Fact: The last time Burlington won the State Football Title was in 1994. The team beat Hulett 36 to 20 in a nine man contest. Mr. Mike Aagard was a senior. His son, Hunter, is a senior this year.


Rocky Mountain Schools hosted a lovely Veteran's Day Assembly this morning.

MS/HS students had a great hands-on opportunity to learn communication, teamwork, and other essential skills at an assembly put on by UWyo High Altitude Pathways (HAP) & CFES Brilliant Pathways.








RMES Special Education Staff gave a great presentation for a new reading intervention program that they have been using this year. Orton-Gillingham is the new approach which incorporates much tactile interaction for young learners.




Intense vocabulary training is happening in the district training room this morning.




Two University of Wyoming Professors visited the district today. They met with Mr. Winland who is supervising a UW Student Teacher.
