Taylor Gifford
This young lady does more than she is given credit for. Taylor really runs the show in the background( she keeps the practice on schedule, also makes sure mats are clean and ready for next day, and puts in the time for our stats)thank you Taylor.

Masen Twomey
Not only did this young man win the state championship at 215 but he showed grace and how to be humble with a victory at such magnitude. It’s shows the growth on and off the mat. Congratulations Masen

Charlee Welling is our Spirit of the Grizz this week!
Charlee showed tremendous heart and hustle all weekend. She brought nonstop energy on the bench and matched it with passionate, aggressive play on the court. She defended with toughness, came up with key stops, and knocked down big shots against Shoshoni to spark our comeback attempt.
Proud of the grit she brings every day.

John Mader is our head manager and a huge part of Grizz Basketball. He’s at every game and is truly loved by the entire team. John keeps us on our toes with his quick wit and perfectly timed comebacks, bringing energy and laughs wherever he goes. Behind the scenes, he’s locked in—keeping stats, helping get film ready, and doing whatever it takes to support the team. Grizz Basketball is better because of John. 🐻🏀

The Rocky Mountain FFA students decorated windows for National FFA week at the Bull Pub on Monday to support our chapter and the alumni. The Rocky Mountain FFA will have their silent auction and dinner on March 13th at the Deaver Town Hall.

In other news, Mr.Wests 8th grade ag class went on a swine production field trip to 307 genetics in Powell, Wy. Thanks to Joe bridges and his entire family for having us over for the field trip.

We ended our National FFA week with our staff breakfast. It was a huge success and it was great to see our Freshman and Junior FFA members participate in the breakfast.

Graysin Jolley is my choice for Middle School Student of the Week. Grace has tenacity, determination, and the drive to do well in all things she does. She consistently asks for feedback from her peers, takes charge when a project challenges her, and seeks to master all the creative processes.
Whether by encouraging and leading her peers, devoting outside class time to student council or sports activities, or asking thoughtful questions about art, Grace brings a willingness to work hard, lead well, and persevere in all things she does. Keep up the great work Grace!

I chose Bailey Simcox as student of the week. Bailey has been doing so well in my choir class and is a leader for my alto section. Though she tends to be shy about her voice, she has a great tone and is preparing to sing a solo at this year's festival. Thank you for being such a great asset to our program and school. Enjoy parking up front. Mr. Burton
