Big Horn #1 honored our District Teacher of the Year-Mr. Kirk Hopkin and our District Staff Member of the Year-Mrs. Dory Cauffman (posthumously). Both of these individuals had a tremendous impact on students over many decades of service.




Board of Trustee Members met with school and district leaders to review data from the last school year. There was lots of reflection, discussion, and goal setting. Priorities for the new school year were determined. It was a productive day.

Registration:
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year will open July 24, 2024. All students will need to be registered by their parents ASAP.
We are not requiring parents or students to come to the school for registration. However, you need to register your child by logging into PowerSchool as a parent and filling out the online registration.
All online registrations must be completed by or on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024.
Registrations must be completed in order for students to participate in sports practices which are scheduled to begin August 19th, 2024.

Last night at the School Board meeting, Retirees were honored. It is an impressive group of individuals who have given much over many years (166 combined years of service.) We thank them and wish them much happiness, adventure, and fulfillment in their retirement.

District #1 has Special Olympic Athletes braving the cold in Cody to compete. It is a wonderful event. Seventeen teams are participating.









Rocky Mountain High School Students have been showing their work at State Art in Casper. Judges have appreciated the work and talent of these students.




RMHS FBLA students did a great job presenting to the Board last night. They were sharp, articulate, and engaging.
