Bailey makes excellent use of available resources to stay on top of her assignments, comes in the before school starts to seek clarification when needed, and is always willing to help her classmates. I nominate Xavier Hetland as my student of the week. Xavier has done a fantastic job in helping run this year's student council. He always comes to our meetings with honest feedback, great ideas, and a willingness to help whenever and wherever he can. He carries this work ethic into the classroom as well. Xavier never lets a challenge stop him. In fact, when he is confronted with an academic challenge, he perseveres to find success. Whether he's receiving multiple pieces of feedback on his writing to revise and edit or tackling new vocabulary, Xavier approaches each task with tenacity. Thank you, Xavier, for making RMMS proud! Tarynn Schoening has earned the recognition of Student of the Week. She is quick to complete assignments and pays attention to detail. Tarynn will ask questions, contribute to discussions, and is actively engaged in her own education. 2024 Volleyball Senior Night!
I chose Mason Twomey for Student of the Week. Mason is a joy to have in History class - he always shows up prepared, leads the class in participation, shows interest and promise in the subject, and goes beyond what is required of him in class. Karter consistently demonstrates kindness and positivity during art class, by lifting his peers with helpfulness, encouragement and positive energy.
